THE STORY OF TOMAS
How a simple getaway turned into a dream come true
In the summer of 2023, I visited Montenegro for the first time as a tourist looking for a seaside holiday and wanting to try a different destination than overpriced Croatia.
Discovering Montenegro
During a week’s holiday I visited most of the seaside resorts and because I liked it so much, I started to look into buying a suitable property within easy reach of the sea for reasonable money.
New challenges in life
My goal was to have my own place to vacation and to be able to offer accommodation to my family and friends. It was a huge challenge for me and a new fresh wind in my then stereotypical life.
First experience with real estate investment
I decided to go all in. I started learning the local language and making contacts with people who enabled me to buy and renovate the property.
Within half a year I finished the renovation and started to offer my property for rent.
Many of my friends and acquaintances then expressed interest in investing in Montenegro and asked me to help them buy and renovate their properties.
